Had the standard queen room and it was cheap with a double bed +single bed. They offered me cereals, toast, eggs and cheese in the morning.

The unit was great value for money and well-equipped.
We really enjoyed this nicely appointed and lovely little hotel and had a THOROUGHLY ENJOYABLE time. It had central location close to Paddington.

The room size felt cramped, especially lacking storage for two people. One chair and a small cabinet didn't cut it. The breakfast options were limited as well-basic boiled eggs, toast, and a rather disappointing English breakfast with only one sausage and no bacon. I wished for a clean, spacious shower area as mine had surprising mold, made it less inviting. Got to mention the lack of fresh fruit or more diverse breakfast choices. A small upgrade could make a big difference.

The right price for a clean, well kept budget room (if we'd been able to use the shower!)
There was no cold water available in our bathroom. The shower was so hot that you could not use it.

The location was fantastic, and the super breakfast was offered. The room had a small balcony. Within walking distance to st james park that was our destination. Don't forget to visit nearby Mimos Cafe Bar, they have best coffee ever.

Location, great breakfast, helpful staff.
Single room very small, old furniture, street noise (if you sleep sensitively).

Good position and very clean. Towels changed every day. There are tv, air-dryer, towels, shampoo and soap.
Staff is not very helpful and friendly....we didn't explain so much how things work in the hotel: wi-fi, and other things. And the elevator didn't work properly: you have to push the button for long time before it starts....if it starts and you don't have to take stairs!!

close to paddington and easy access to the natural history museum
I loved how I was just a few steps away from Paddington station, making it super easy to explore the city, and the nearby Natural History Museum was a good surprise during my strolls through the area.

The Gresham is in a really great location, very accessible to many of London's main attractions... Staff were very kind and helpful and the 24 hour reception was handy after we arrived in London at 4am... they were happy to store our bags without question. The room at the rear of the block may not have had the prettiest view, but it was incredibly quiet which was great for recovering from the jet lag after flying from Australia. The room itself was a little smaller to what we are used to, but completely comfortable and functionable... you just need to be organised when repacking the suitcases.

Location 2 mins from Paddington.
Ok first the price of £140 a night. For this price even in Central London should give you a quality hotel. Here the rooms are tiny 1970's decor 14 inch tv that worked sporadically. Had to put the kettle on the floor next to the socket to heat water. Powdered milk. 5% extra charge if paying by debit/credit card. £5 extra charge for breakfast. Lift was either slow or not working. Really you can do a lot better in London even for half the price I paid. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
